(pronounced limiskit)
Today’s practice is a walking figure 8 meditation. It sounds as simple as it is. It’s very soothing and can be done in a small area of space. This practice dates back many centuries as a contemplative practice as well as an ode to the flight of the honey bee. It’s usually done for 10-15 minutes but you can start with 5 minutes. Set a timer and start walking in the shape of an 8 - as small or as big as your space will allow. Focus on your breath and be completely present bringing your attention back to your feet and your breath when you get distracted. This can be a helpful tool if you need to make a decision or spur creativity.
