BREATHWORK TO RELEASE EMOTIONS

This 20 minute practice will create the internal physiology needed to release the stored emotions in your body so they can be felt, processed and released. It’s normal to store emotions in the form of energy in the tissues of the body it’s a way for the body to suppress feeling things that are overwhelming the system at the time. When you’re ready though they will need to be released before more and more tension gets added to the body and you have no choice but to release it through sickness or something else that forces the body to rest, heal and recover. This is a gentle, nurturing process in which a specific breathing pattern creates a sympathetic state in the body, the same state that your body stores emotions in the first place, you will release what you’re ready to release and in the free space that you create you will fill yourself up with lightness and positive memories, further programming your body for healing and growth.
