SATURATION

Today’s practice is a little different - it requires you to find an image that brings you the same emotional sensations that your vision brings you. It should still be a somatic experience though - it’s about your body’s reaction to the photo rather than your mind. Never underestimate the power of visualization - your brain needs to overcome it’s negative bias and seeing can be believing to your subconscious mind by expanding the possibilities it believes are possible (and safe) for you to grow towards.

Look back through all the inspirational photos you’ve saved online or spend 10 minutes on Pinterest and screen shot a photo that illicits that same feeling that your internal vision brings you. The key is how it “feels” in your body - not necessarily how it looks or what the image actually is. It doesn’t have to be realistic - if its winter where you are and you choose a summer photo, that’s ok! It could be a flower, an abstract piece of art, a person, a nostalgic scene, you as a child - anything goes, trust your instincts.

Once you have the photo make it the back ground of your phone or your desktop (or both). Keep it there until next month when you repeat this cycle and choose a new vision and image.

If you’d like to engage in any time of clean eating, this would be the best phase to harness the natural strength and focus of your body. Similar to the springtime you want to eat more bitter greens, fibre and hydrating food and drink.
