PROGRAM FAQ
-
This is a system to organize all the types of self care and healing work in line with the rising and falling energy of nature’s cycles. The same energy cycle exists in the lunar cycle which affects us just like it does the tides. If you don’t have an internal cycle you will follow the lunar cycle - day 1 is the new moon and you can count days from there. Day 14 will be approximately around the full moon. You can start this program on any day and cycle back around each cycle as a way to sync your self care for growth or to simply feel your best.
-
The cycle repeats again after day 30 so you start back again at day 1. Each new cycle is an opportunity to uplevel the vision you’re working towards or to maintain your self care practice to feel your best. If you’re usng this program to heal hormonal imbalances, to find your ideal weight or to heal burn out you will need at least 3 cycles to see results. Most wellness protocols that offer lasting healing take around 3 menstrual cycles to integrate.
There’s no need to be healing from anything specific either, I’ve been following this monthly method to uplevel and follow my dreams for almost 5 years now and it only gets more potent every month. You can take it as seriously or as casually as you need to - it will still bring you healing benefits each month. -
Join the Whatsapp chat - Emily shares lots of updates and is available for any questions you have! If you’d rather you can email emily@dejawell.com.
There’s a growing community of women interested in this cyclical lifestyle and the love of self care - we’re all doing this work together and we can learn alot from each other, plus it’s way more fun with the feeling of sisterhood in this relatively new way of being for our modern world. -
You basically create a shortcut on your phone to have access to The Well just like an app.
You can save this site as an icon on your mobile which makes it look just like an app.
This way you can access it and follow along with the practices and shopping lists when you’re out and about. Once you’ve saved the icon it should automatically save your login info so you won’t have to login again.
Here’s how to do it:
iPhone or iPad
1. Open Safari. Other browsers, such as Chrome, won't work for this
2. Navigate to the website you want to save to your home screen by entering the URL of the website you want to create a shortcut to. Make sure you visit the exact page you want to open through the shortcut. Tap “Go.”
3. Tap the Share button on the bottom of the page. It looks like a square with an arrow pointing out of the top
4. In the list of options that appear, scroll down until you see Add to Home Screen. Tap this. The Add to Home Screen dialog box will appear
5. Choose a name for the website shortcut on your home screen. You'll see the link so you can confirm it, as well as the site's favicon that will appear as the "app" icon on your home screen. Click Add when you're done. Safari will close automatically and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPhone's or iPad's home screen
6. Now just tap the new "app" or shortcut on your home screen, and it will open the website in its own navigation window, independent of what you have open in Safari
Note: If you ever decide you want to remove the website shortcut, you can delete it just like you would any other app on your phone.
Android
1. Open Chrome
2. Navigate to the website or web page you want to pin to your home screen
3. Tap the menu icon (3 dots in the upper right-hand corner) and tap Add to home screen
4. Choose a name for the website shortcut, then Chrome will add it to your home screen
